How do I import a recipe from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube?

Copy the video link inside TikTok / Instagram / YouTube and paste it into ReciPie's "Add recipe" view. Our AI will automatically extract the ingredients and instructions.

You can also share the video directly from the social media app — pick "Share" → ReciPie.

Import failed or the recipe is incomplete — what should I do?

Import quality depends on how the creator described the recipe (mainly in the video description and captions). If you see an error:

  1. Make sure the link is public (not from a private account).
  2. Try again — sometimes it just works the second time.
  3. You can always edit the recipe manually after import.
  4. If the problem persists, email us with the link.
How does the subscription work and how do I cancel?

ReciPie offers a free tier and a Premium subscription with extra features (unlimited imports, premium cooking mode, portion scaling, and more).

To cancel your subscription on iPhone / iPad:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Choose Subscriptions.
  4. Tap ReciPie and select Cancel Subscription.

To cancel your subscription on Android:

  1. Open the Google Play app.
  2. Tap your profile icon and choose Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Select ReciPie and tap Cancel subscription.

In both cases, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I scale portions in a recipe?

Tap the number of servings in the recipe view and pick a new value. All ingredient amounts recalculate automatically.

Can I use ReciPie offline?

Yes — saved recipes are available offline in cooking mode. Importing new recipes requires an internet connection (we need it to analyse videos).

How do I delete my account and all my data?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This is irreversible and removes all your recipes, collections and account data from our servers.

If you can't do this from inside the app, email gowtomasz@gmail.com from the address linked to your account — we'll delete it within 14 days.

Refund policy

Subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google.

iOS / iPadOS: to request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Android: to request a refund, visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions or contact Google Play support.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time

This removes all your data (recipes, collections, profile) and cannot be undone.

  1. Open the ReciPie app.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.
