Delete Account

If you wish to delete your ReciPie account, you can do so directly in the app or by contacting us via email.
Option 1: In the app
- Open the ReciPie app
- Go to the Profile tab (icon on the bottom bar)
- Scroll down to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision in the dialog
Option 2: Via email
Send an email to support@recipee.pl with the subject "Delete my account". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
What data will be deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account data (email address, username)
- All imported recipes
- Shopping lists
- Favorites
- App preferences and settings
- Import history
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is irreversible. We will not be able to recover your recipes or data after deletion. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it in the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.
Deletion timeline
- Account data and recipes: deleted within 30 days of the request
- Technical logs: automatically deleted after 90 days
- Subscription data: managed by Apple/Google — deleted according to their policies
Data that may be retained
In accordance with applicable law, we may be required to retain certain data for a specified period:
- Transaction data (payment history) — up to 5 years for tax purposes
- Legally required logs — as mandated by applicable regulations
This data is stored solely for legal purposes and is not used for any other reason.
